How to cure your Mate: fill your yerba Mate gourd with used or new yerba Mate tea leaves and add warm water, let it rest for 24 hours. Make sure to keep the yerba Mate wet and add more water if needed without soaking it. After 24 hours, remove the yerba mate out with a spoon and slightly scrape the interior (do not wash it). Repeat the process one more time. Clean the Mate with running water and you are ready to enjoy the best Mate!

The Mate
Mate is the infusion of choice in the Río de la Plata and south of Brazil. Over time, this tradition has been extended worldwide due to the Mate ambassadors that represent it.
